About Dr. Sanders,

Dr. Sanders has been practicing Psychiatry 27 years.  While i have done many things research teaching, medical director, community mental health; my passion is to help with mood and add get well and stay well.   

human  being first, physician second and psychiatrist third.  many psychiatrists can be hard to relate to.  i take a person interest your health and well being.  

optimal care.  your getting well, fully well, is my goal.  besides the obvious, not feeling fully well, with suboptimal care you not only still feel partly ill, but your chance of relapse is much more likely and much more quickly, up to 7 times more quickly!

i always start with standard of care and that works for many people.  but, if that has been exhausted, we will look at other safe options.  we will look at both media and non-medical treatments.  often, a combination gives the best outcome.
